  • The charger indicates that my battery is fully charged but I was just using it and it depleted. Why isn’t it charging?

    • Putting a battery that was just in use onto the charger often results in a false full charge signal. Remove the battery from the charger and allow it to rest in a room temperature area for approximately 10-15 minutes before charging.

  • My charger is flashing red when I engage my battery. Why is this happening?

    • When the battery is inserted into the charger and the status LED blinks red, remove the battery from the charger for 1 minute, then reinsert. If the status LED blinks green, then the battery is properly charging. If the status LED is still blinking red, remove the battery and unplug the charger for 1 minute. After 1 minute, plug in the charger and reinsert the battery. If the status LED blinks green, then the battery is properly charging. If the status LED is still blinking red, then this likely indicates an issue with the battery or charger and should be taken care of either with our warranty team or by means of replacement.

  • My charger has a solid red light on it when I engage my battery. What is happening?

    • This typically indicates that the battery is at the wrong temperature to be charged. Allow the battery and charger to rest indoors at room temperature until they are no longer hot/cold and attempt charging again.

  • Are your chargers made for 220V or 120V outlets?

    • Greenworks chargers sold in the USA and Canada are designed for use on 120V outlets only.

An outstanding charger

I bought this charger last month to replace a charger that I acquired when buying blower. After using it several times I am convinced this charger deserves a 5 star rating for it's fan cooled charging function that provides consistent and lightning fast charging. The flexibility to wall mount and its durable construction should provide long term reliability.I am very pleased with my purchase and additionally the price provided an attractive value.

Greenworks battery charger

I bought two more kits two years ago. One of the battery chargers failed. Greenworks will not stand behind their warranty and replace the charger. So now I'm forced to buy another one for $80. I wouldn't recommend their products to anyone. Their warranty is useless. They also sent emails saying they would contact me regarding this issue and never did.f

Charger died right after warranty expired

Received leaf blower as a Christmas gift and the charger stopped working. Green works web site says their chargers have a 3 year warranty. When I called their service line they said it’s only two years without proof of purchase. The charger has the manufacture date on it and was made within 3 years.

Battery Charger Failed After 9 Months

I bought the mower weed wacker and chain saw along with several batteries. I'm extremely satisfied with the other products in the line but my battery charger stopped working after less than a year. The light doesn't come on and the batteries won't charge anymore. Extremely disappointing giving the quality of the rest of the line. It seems like the warranty process is much more involved than just buying a new charger.
