Scraper Assembly for 22" Snow Throwers

This scraper gets way to brittle in the cold and destroyed after every single snowfall. Greenworks needs to acknowledge that this is a design flaw and not an issue with wear and tear and do better with the design of this scraper. This is never in stock when you need them so the snowblower becomes useless for the rest of the season. I was able to finally order a set in the summer but it came with incorrect fasteners. I called up support and they had the audacity to say that "as a one time courtesy, we will send you the correct fasteners". Are you serious!!? They sent 2/5 screws and never received the rest of correct fasteners as they sold out!

My beef is I’ve been waiting for scraper assembly since December but it’s still not available. I used an 1 1/2 inch ABS pipe, hand saw and a heat gun (in a well ventilated space) to make my own drop in replacement.

It's been 3 month now that scraper is sold out...maybe try to make it stronger so it can last...

This is an urgently needed replacement part because we are in the middle of winter. I am disappointed that you are sold out. This seems to indicate a more than normal rate of part failure. This is the most stressed part on the snow thrower. Maybe you can redesign it. But what is important is to get replacement parts ASAP. I have been waiting 2 weeks now. UNACCEPTABLE

If you are buying this model you should buy a spare scraper

Purchased the 22 inch 60v pro model. I have had the snowblower for approximately 2 months and used it a total of 6 times. Power is great and it works well at blowing snow. 2 days ago I was using it and I noticed a giant piece of plastic in the snow. I thought it was garbage buried in the snow. Turns out it was the scaper assembly from the bottom of the blower. They manufactured this piece out of the worst plastic you could find. It is not strong enough to stand up to everyday use. It is flimsy and cheap. It should have been made of either steel or graphite etc. What makes it worse is that the customer service is terrible. You will be on hold for hours or on chat and you won't get any resolution. The part is back-ordered for months. Even worse my brand new machine was missing 2 bolts and 2 screws. I sent pictures of the missing pieces and I was told to go buy them from a hardware store??? If this is how they deal with minor issues imagine is something major goes wrong. Stay clear of Greenworks and go buy and EGO. Better customer service and product.
