Hi Michel. Thank you for your feedback. Many Single-Stage Snow Throwers will have a plastic scraper, while the metal scrapers tend to be on the Two-Stage Snow Thrower units. Some benefits of the plastic scraper include protecting delicate surfaces, quieter operation, glides over uneven surfaces, and especially non-marking. The scraper is considered a wearable item/part, and therefore it would need to be replaced accordingly, depending on the condition. Hi Christian. Thank you for your feedback. A snow blower scraper blade needs replacement every few seasons, sometimes more, depending on frequency of use and how much it wears. Parts such as belts, impellers, and scrapers will need to be replaced when worn; these parts are considered wear and tear and not covered under warranty. Greenworks wearable parts and accessories are protected against all defects in materials, parts, or workmanship under normal use for a period of 90 days from the shipping date.
