Awesome AND Very, Very Durable Batteries !

We have purchased many Greenworks 80V products over the past 8 years. Our very 1st was a 21" lawn mower w/2 batteries & a charger, that we are still using ! ; followed by a 20" snow thrower, an 18" chainsaw, and finally a 10" polesaw. We also bought 2 of the 80V 5AH batteries 3 years ago to increase the time available to use the new 22" snow thrower upgrade that Greenworks sent us FOR FREE to replace our 3 yr. old 20" that died under warranty. They didn't have any 20" ones in stock so they sent us the next size up ! ( amAzing customer service ! )
The 2 batteries FROM THE VERY 1ST PURCHASE are still functional, albeit they don't last quite as long after 8 years, this is both understandable & remarkable ! The 2 that came with the 20" snow thrower are functioning as normal as are the 2 5AH ones we got 3 years ago.
All in all the home owner grade Greenworks products seem pretty good. As far as the batteries go I have to say that after using them for many years they are Exceptional !

batteries don't last.

I have gone thru three batteries so far with minimal use. Warrantee was good but how long does that last. 2stars for the batteries

In optimal conditions, our batteries are designed to retain most of their capacity through up to 2,000 full charge cycles. After this point, performance typically begins to decline more rapidly. For best results, we recommend the following: Remove the battery from the charger once it’s fully charged. Do not store batteries on the charger for extended periods. Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
