How to Delete your Account Information:
If you have not placed any orders, to remove your data from the Greenworks tools canada app, please follow these instructions:
- Open the Greenworks app on your device.
- Click on Profile Icon. If you are already logged in you will see your profile data. If not, please login to your account that you want to delete the data for.
- Locate the button for "Delete Account" at the bottom of the page, below the log out button to start the deletion process.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the deletion of your account and associated data.
- Once you complete the deletion process, your account information and associated data will be permanently deleted from our systems.
If you have placed any orders with us, to remove your data from the Greenworks Tools Canada, you will need to contact us at privacyca@greenworkstools.com. Once your request has been received, we will submit the request to have the information deleted, which can take up to six months (180 days), in case a chargeback occurs. Once the requested has been updated, we will notify you so you can complete steps 1 – 5 above.
Deleting App Data on Device:
- Open the settings on your device.
- Navigate to the "Apps" or "Application Manager" section.
- Locate and select the Greenworks Tools Canada app from the list.
- Tap on "Clear Data" or "Delete App Data" option.
- Confirm the deletion of the app data when prompted.
Data Storage Duration:
At greenworkstools.ca, user data is retained for a maximum of 1 year from the date of account deletion. Beyond this timeframe, all personal data, including account information and associated data, will be permanently removed from our systems.
It's important to be aware that certain anonymized and aggregated data may be retained for analytical purposes in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. This data will not be traceable to any specific individual.
