Quality is ok for entry level ebike. Brakes are lacking power. Motor is powerful but may need to upgrade battery for long trips

After shopping around I did see that competitors are offering free batteries etc at the same price but I trust the greenworks batteries haven't used them in the past and have other tools that I can use 80 volt with to look forward to the bike in the future and carry spare battery just in case.

other than the seat could be a little more comfortable and the power /control pad could use a backlight. its a fantastic bike. its a good size bike. im 6'2 and its almost too big for me to get on. The throttle gives a smooth accleration. its been years since ive rode a bike but this bike gave a nice ride. If you're thinking of getting this i highly recommend it.

Bought this a couple weeks ago and it's the best thing ever! It is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this product. You won't be disappointed.

Ok so I'm mechanically challenged and the bike took a couple hours to get together but overall I'm pleased with the performance. Good beginner ebike and possible to pedal without assistance. Battery life may be a bit shorter than competitors at same price point but the motor is powerful and I trust the Greenworks battery to last. Could use a few less Greenworks logos and the brakes squeak a bit but I purchased at 50% off retail. Competitors are offering a free battery and longer warranty free shipping so may be worth shopping first unless on sale.

The bike looks nice and draws a lot of attention however the battery is a third of the total watt hours that a lot of other e-bikes in this range offer that are much less expensive so our runtime has been more like in the 9-12 mile range. Also the offered 8ah battery does not allow the battery cover to be reinstalled due to its taller height so it does not fit unlike what the question and answers section of this bike claim. This mistake cost me a $15 return charge on a battery I can’t use. Customer service never answered the phone then eventually you can put your phone number in to get into the que for a call back which never happened. The chatbot does nothing to help with this issue and seamed to just go in circles the chat for a representative also never resulted in a single human being responding for two hours before I just shut it off and gave up. The brakes are a little weak for a bike this heavy and should have been hydraulic again offered on other e-bikes of lesser cost. Overall it’s a nice looking smooth riding bike. It’s also a tall bike. I’m 5’9 and definitely on my tippy toes sitting on the lowest level of seat height. My two stars are for poor battery choice incorrect battery fitment misinformation on the website and for zero customer service. Come up with a taller battery cover to accept the 8ah battery to keep up with our other e-bikes and you’ll partially solve one issue.

This is my first ebike build quality seems to be on par with similar spec bikes. I wanted to stick with one major Lithium battery tool manufacturer and have decided to stick with green works. This is a decent first time bike but i will be looking to upgrade to a faster bike in the near future. Battery does wear down very quick as you would kind of expect being only 4 amp hours.

The 80V Venture 26 is a nice bike. Very good quality. The battery goes down faster than I expected but I have not really been on a long trip and consistently pedaled. Wish I could have seen it before I bought it since it is a bit bigger than I expected. I have a 32 inseam and if I was any shorter I wouldn’t be able to straddle the bike. It is lots of fun on and off road. Seat is comfortable. I think I am going to have a great summer riding on and off road.

Whoa this battery-operated mountain bike is a total game-changer! I mean I used to think I was in shape but let's be real pedaling up those steep hills was just plain torture. It was also a really unique experience feeling the immediate toruqe response when the grade of the incline increases. I'm flying up steep grades like a pro (well maybe not quite but you get the idea)! There is also just the right amount of clearance to clear pesky roots and fat tires make the experience totally unique. I've never owned a fat tire bike mainly due to weight but the battery system makes it much easier to use.The power is instantaneous the design is sleek and the battery life is like having a superhero sidekick that's got my back. I also appreciate the integrated digal guage. I ride with a bike computer that isn't nearly as large or visible (wonder if Greenworks will sell the bike computer separately!). Out of box it took under 15 minutes to get the bike ride ready! Well done guys.If you're looking for a bike that'll make you feel like a total boss on the trails look no further. Trust me your legs (and your lungs) will thank you! Won't be my every day trail bike but after a few back to back on my standard bike this is an easy way to hit the trails and recover from an intense ride. This is my 5th greenworks pro product. I am also extremely happy with my yard tools ( hedge trimmer / pike saw combo 18 chainsaw sprayer and wide body self propelled mower). The fact they all use the same battery make the entire eco system extremely convenient!

Wow I knew I wanted to get an E-Bike but didn't know where to turn. Already having powerful Greenworks batteries I thought I would check to the site to see if they made one; glad I did! This bike is so well made! The assembly out of the box takes very little time and I was up and riding quickly. The controls are straightforward and ergonomic which really makes riding extremely comfortable. I've put about 80 miles on my bike and do not have a complaint. The battery lasts more than enough time for my rides the bike is plenty powerful enough to help or even completely take over on steep uphill climbs. The bike is heavier than a stand alone bike but surprisingly it really doesn't seem to impact my cycling. The fat tires help with excellent stability and the seat and handlebars are very comfortable. I love this bike and am thrilled to have it. Spring time is here and it's a great time to be outside and enjoy the weather get some exercise and just enjoy the day.

I'm obsessed with this bike! It's completely transformed my outdoor adventures this year. The fat tires conquer any terrain with ease and the powerful motor lets me breeze up hills with no sweat. But what really sets this e-bike apart is the incredible battery life. I can ride for miles and miles on a single charge which gives me serious range anxiety relief. Plus the top speed is perfect for cruising around town or hitting the trails with a little extra oomph. If you're looking for a fun powerful and versatile e-bike with a long-lasting battery this model is definitely worth it!

I finally gave in and got an Ebike and I am so glad I did! Around my house there are a lot of hills and trails that I didn’t get to enjoy before but now I keep looking for new trails and with the 26-inch fat tires I have no issues going over the less groomed trails or even going off the beaten path. There were less than 10 steps to put it together and multiple ways to follow directions (ie written or videos). It was delivered on a pallet and nicely secured. The instructions recommend charging it fully before using and by the time the battery was fully charged I had the bike assembled which was roughly 45 mins. The look feel and design of the bike is very comfortable and user friendly. It feels very durable. Nothing is flimsy or cheaply made on this bike. The 7 gear shift is smooth so there is no catching or clucking even when shifting going uphill. The best feature obviously is the electric motor! It has 3 levels of power and can be used to pedal assist or you can just use the battery and not pedal at all. You also have the option of having it be used like a regular bike with no assistance at all. At top speed on level ground I got up to 20 mph which is plenty of speed for me! The display is very nice and has different features that I have grown to love such as distance trip and battery life so I know when I need to recharge. On a full battery life going up many steep hills and heavy use of the battery I can go on a 2+ hour bike ride and still not be fully drained. The seat is wide and comfortable with its own built-in shock absorption making long rides comfortably. What made me choose Greenworks Ebike over other competitors is that I can use the battery for other products provided by Greenworks. Battery operated tools have come a long way. I currently have the 80v leaf blower which has great power and uses the same battery as the bike! Having an Ebike has made me feel like a kid again and I am so happy I bought one!

I bought my Greenworks Fat Tire Mountain eBike about a month ago and must say I've loved every minute so far. The bike itself is well constructed with only a few easy setup steps to get up and running. They offered multiple instruction pamphlets including 'quick start' manual to get your bike put together and battery charged up. The battery came half-charged so I recommend putting it on the charger during the setup process so you're ready to hit the trail after completion. I'm surprised at the speed & power the 80V 4Ah battery provides this bike and the acceleration that kicks in once you've engaged the electric component of the bike. It offers three different levels of acceleration that you can select on the PAS adjust button located on the handle bars. The instructions do a good job of walking you through the initial start up phase and identifying all of the handle bar features including the very slick LED screen which features things like speed battery life trip distance and more. As for actual performance I've been really impressed in the core bike features this product offers both from a regular bike and an electric bike standpoint. The 7-speed gear shifter offers different levels of resistance while operating like a traditional bike while the electric motor offers speeds up to around 20MPH and a walk/assist option. The fat tires & seat provide a nice ride and comfort regardless of the terrain. Lastly I think a bonus is this uses the same 80V battery I use in my mower and snowblower offering the same exceptional performance I've come to expect from my Greenworks products. Highly recommended exploring a Greenworks eBike!

I’m enjoying my bike so far. Been riding it for the past three weeks it’s great for bumpy trails and speed bumps. Knowing I can get 22 miles on a single charge is fantastic! I would reccomend this bike for sure.

I'm just going to warn everybody about buying a $2000 bike that only has a 1-year warranty. I don't trust them with that because you get a one-year warranty on a piece of crap bike you can buy at Walmart but for $2000 they don't want to guarantee it for more than one year? Don't trust this I'm just telling you now you will probably regret it. Think about this because even their mowers have a 4-year warranty for six or $700 but they want you to pay $2000 to only get one year warranty. Don't fall for it

The value for money equation doesn't work for this bike. At this price it should have hydraulic brakes. There are many other great bikes out there for the same price and they include a big battery with far greater range than I can get from my existing collection of 80v batteries.
